REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
GASOLINE / DIESEL FUEL
The Bibb County Commission will receive competitive bids on the following:
1.Regular Unleaded Gasoline
2.Super Unleaded Gasoline
3.Diesel Fuel
Fuel must be obtainable by Bibb County vehicles at the distributor’s or outlet pumps inside Bibb County as the County maintains no fuel storage facilities. The ability to obtain fuel with a fuel / credit card is required along with twenty-four (24) hour accessibility.
Any increases must be attributable to wholesale cost. Hence, no increase to the bid price shall be applied without the Commission office being given a twenty-four hour notice of such, along with documentation from the parent company detailing the increase amount per gallon. Any substitutes / alternatives offered to the above bid specifications must be submitted in detail. This fuel bid will be good for a three (3) year period. The awarded party or the county may terminate said agreement by providing the other party with a ninety (90) days written notification.
Bids should be sealed and clearly marked Fuel Bid. Bids should detail the price per gallon of the three (3) aforementioned items along with any other costs associated with the acquisition of such fuel. Any discount should be stated in terms of percentage and cents per gallon.E-verify verification, as well as a completed affidavit, must be submitted with the bid.Bids will be accepted until2:00 p.m., November 1, 2016. 4. ______(business entity) shall acquire from its subcontractors notarized affidavits that they will not knowingly employ, hire for employment or continue to employ unauthorized aliens, that they will enroll in the E-Verify Program before performing any contract work or providing any product, and that they shall attach to the affidavits, documentation establishing their enrollment in E-Verify as required by Act No. 2011-535.
