Biggest agro event in Biddinghuizen in the Netherlands from 10to13 September

AGROTECHNIEK HOLLAND:FULL HOUSE WITH 3.000 MACHINES OF 450 DIFFERENT BRANDS

‘Everything of interest for farmers'will be on show during AgroTechniek Holland, the biggest outdoor agro event in the Netherlands held in Biddinghuizenfrom 10, up to and including 13 September. More than3,000 agricultural machines of more than 450 brands will be presented by circa 260 manufacturers, importers and dealers during the third edition of this event.

In addition to showing 3,000 state-of-the-art tractors, equipment, harvesters, milking technology and livestock housing equipment, we also organize a TrekkerParcours (tractor track) where farmers can make test drives with the most modern tractors, as well as an Agility Course providing information about agro road safety and numerous innovations that all compete for the Bronzen Sikkel (bronze scythe) award.

New this year are demonstrations of harvesting, spraying and tillage, as well as an Energy Pavilion for arable and livestock farming. This biannual event for contractors, arable farmers, livestock farmers and farmers with mixed farms from the Netherlands and abroad, will be held from Wednesday 10, up to and including Saturday 13 September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Demonstrations of harvesting, spraying and tillage

“For this first time during the third edition of AgroTechniek Holland visitors will be presented with demonstrations of harvesting beets, spraying and tillage. In addition to the exhibition fields, an area of more than 40 hectare will be made available for exhibitors to show the state-of-the-art harvesters and other machinery to the tens of thousands of contractors, arable farmers and livestock farmers expected every day,” says Willem Bierema, manager of the agro fair.

Tractor Track for testing the most modern tractors

Driving the newest tractors across a track full of obstacles? You will now get the chance to do so on the Tractor Track confronting you with those traffic situations that you encounter most often in your every-day practice. This is an excellent opportunity to test the tractors' performances. Supervised by an expert instructor, visitors can test, examine and get a feel for the tractors.

Innovations highlighted

There will be a great many product innovations among the more than 450 brands presented during this event. The most outstanding innovation will be awarded the Bronzen Sikkel, an innovation prize conferred by a professional jury. This jury will evaluate all entries and assess to what extent they are innovative and distinctivefor the future of the agricultural sector. During the first day of the event, Wednesday 10 September, the winner of the Bronzen Sikkel 2014 award will be announced.

Important third parties, such as LTO, Rabobank, CUMELA, FEDECOMand WUR have committed themselves as partners to this total event that will bring agricultural mechanization to life.

The fair will be open from Wednesday 10, up to and including Saturday 13 September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. The entrance is free on presentation of an invitation, distributed by participating importers, manufacturers and dealers. Tickets bought at the entry desk are € 19.50 per person; entrance is free for children up to 12 years. Online tickets bought in advance via a € 2.00discount and are € 17.50 per person.Entrance is free for students from agricultural colleges, provided they register through their college.
