The new AEG Santo fridge-freezer S83600CSM1 brings freshness into homes, offering perfect storage conditions at all times. The optimal construction of the appliance also means that it can hold more than its predecessor models – with the outer dimensions just the same as before. The economical consumption data make the Santo a winner in terms of the environment too. Thanks to innovative technology the appliance achieves a first-class performance and at the same time consumes the least energy. The combined fridge-freezer was awarded a best A+++ energy efficiency rating since it uses 50 per cent less energy than the limit defined for the A+ energy efficiency category.
Innovative functions for more freshness
Each type of food requires individual storing to keep it fresh as long as possible. AEG's Santo has many functions to provide all the different foods with just the right environment at all times. In this sense, the FreshBox was developed especially for meat and fish. It operates at lower temperatures than in the rest of the fridge, keeping food fresh for twice as long. The MaxiBox vegetable drawer on telescopic rails is the largest on the market. It is fitted with an adjustable partition and a double shelf to prevent the food from making contact with condensation water. With the COOLMATIC function, large quantities of fresh food can be quickly cooled down to the ideal storage temperature. The FROSTMATIC button is used to lower the temperature in the freezer section for a defined time to gently and quickly freeze new goods. The appliance automatically switches back to normal operation after the food has been quick-frozen. Storage conditions can be precisely controlled with the LC display with touch control operation elements. The energy-saving interior LED lighting lights the fridge section up brightly throughout.

With its elegant full stainless steel design and its bar handle, the combined fridge-freezer scores in looks as well, and blends harmoniously into any kitchen. The S84000CSM1 model, a real giant, offers even more storage space for keeping food fresh. The anti-fingerprint coating keeps the stainless steel appliances impeccably clean even when they are used by large families. For those who like light colors, the AEG Santo is also available in white (model S83600CSW1).
