Comments & Questions: Just wanted to say how excited I am that Group Benefits now offers the LDP coverage as part of our benefits package. I have been a member of LDP for some years now and have enjoyed not only the dental coverage, but the vision coverage as well (in fact will be using it this Friday). Now to see that LDP has added hearing and massage therapy and cosmetic surgery benefits as well makes this one of the best and most value packed plans on the market. And the biggest plus is now I can save the $10 a month I was paying for the plan individually. Thanks to LDP for making your plan better and thanks to OGB for giving state workers and retirees like myself greater value for the insurance dollar.

I have had much better results with the therapist than with the doctors and chiropractors. The only drawback was that is was not covered by insurance. Also being a baby boomer I think about the cost of hearing aids and the fact that they are not covered. Thank you for the additional coverage. cc

Comments & Questions: Yes, I think it is great. I never could understand why dental and vision was not included in health insurance as your teeth and eyes are part of your body. The same goes with preventive care - if you can prevent or detect early it could save a lot of money that you would spend to treat when something is full blown.
