The Pacific Association of the USA Track and Field is conducting an

Introduction to Track and Field Officiating clinic in the Redding area

Saturday, February 12, 2011

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

EnterpriseHigh School

Redding, CA

Cost: $35.00 which includes NFHS, NCAA, & USATF rulebooks.

Your only qualification to attend and become an official is that you have

an interest in track and field (that’s it!) – the USATF will do the rest.

The one day clinic, along with becoming a member of the Pacific Association USATF

($30.00), qualifies the clinic participant to begin working meets as a certified official.

Along with the clinic training, it is recommended that the new official request to be assigned to an

experienced official, who volunteers to serve as the new official’s mentor for their first year (extensions are available).

The mentor assists the new official in gaining experiences through their involvement in activities that the two

feel the new official is prepared to do, while fulfilling the goals the new official sets for him or herself.

We will be working through lunch, so please bring something for your meal that day.

  • Click SEARCH

You will come one listing for the clinics

  • Click the blue highlighted clinic listing.

You will come to a general explanation of the clinics.

  • click REGISTER NOW

You will come to a waiver page. Type in your name as the signature, DOB, and check agree w/waiver.

  • Click AGREE & CONTINUE

You will now be at the list of clinics. Select the appropriate clinic(s) and check them.

Also rulebooks are available for purchase in an area below the list of clinics (best way to get your rulebooks).

Check the rulebooks/resources that you wish to order.

  • The remainder of the process involves how you will pay for what you have ordered.
