Annual Meeting

May 15, 2011

3:00 P.M.

Members Present: Ron Reineke, Fred Becker, Dave Goller, Dave Clawson, Dennis Goltz, Bill Bohan, Sandy Battreall

Members Absent: None

Board President Ron Reineke declared the Election polls closed at 3:03 P.M.

Approval of the May 2010 Annual Meeting minutes.

Motion was made by Mary Reineke of lot # 1912, seconded by Diane Egelston of lot # 1863 to approve the May 2010 annual meeting minutes. Motion carried.

Financial Report

The 2009 financial report was given by the Board Treasurer, Dave Goller. See 2010 Audit Report at the BLA office and attached summary sheet.

Presidents Report

Ron Reineke thanked Dave Clawson for his 3 years of service as a Board member. A plaque was given to Dave as a token of appreciation for his work over the years.

Ron announced the following

·  The long term debt is decreasing.

·  We added a 3rd tornado siren.

·  A walking trail has been established at the west end of the lake on the pipeline.

·  An alternate drinking water source has been established with Cass County Rural Water District #1.

·  The access areas have been improved significantly.

·  Two riding mowers have been purchased.

·  A 3rd lane has been added to the boat ramp.

·  An excavator has been purchased to help on silt pond clean out & other jobs.

·  Education and training on preventing zebra mussels has been accomplished.

·  Bothe water towers have been painted.

·  Liftstation 14 was updated.

·  AT&T put antennas on our tower which provided an additional revenue for the association.

·  The coconuts has been purchased by the association.

·  Talmage road received a paving overlay.

Ron Westman asked for a review of an election procedure that would change wording on the ballot. The concern is the statement which says vote for 3 candidates.

The committee will review this at their next meeting.

Mr. Noell of lot 814 asked for the definition of an excavator.

Ron explained that another word for it is a track hoe.

Dale Spear of lot 1693 asked if there could be a speed limit sign put on the exit of clubhouse circle.

Lea Kuper of lot 1724 asked if a basketball hoop can be installed in the upper clubhouse parking lot.

The property committee will review the possibility.

Ron Westman asked if the lanes at the boat ramp will be striped.

Troy stated that upon completion they will be striped.

Ron called for a recess while the ballots are being reviewed and counted.

A power point presentation was displayed of the progress on several projects while the break was taken.

The meeting was reconvened at 4:01 p.m.

The 3 Candidates elected were Dave Goller, Fred Becker, and Russ Parmer.

Motion was made by Carol Goller, seconded by Ron Westman to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
