6:30 am --- depart for Washington, DC

8:45 am --- rest stop – Buckeye Lake area

10:45 am --- rest stop – PA Welcome Center

1:15 pm --- lunch: Breezewood, PA – fast food ($8 to each) - depart lunch by 2:15p

4:30 pm --- WWII, Vietnam, Lincoln & Korean Memorials - depart from Korean Memorial by 6p

6:30 pm --- dinner: Pentagon City Mall food court ($12 to each) depart dinner by 7:45p

8:00 pm --- MLK / FDR / Jefferson Memorials – depart for hotel by 9:30p

10:00 pm --- hotel check-in: Holiday Inn Express – Camp Springs, MD – 301/423-2323

--- night chaperones on duty

Thursday, May 10

6:45 am --- wake up

7:15 am --- full breakfast @ hotel (included)

8:15 am --- depart hotel

9:00 am --- White House picture stop – Lafayette Park

10:00 am --- Smithsonians – choice of: American & Natural History Museums – depart at 11:30a

11:45 am --- board cruise ship

12:00 pm --- lunch cruise aboard Spirit of Washington (included) confirmed

2:45 pm --- t-shirt shopping near Ford’s Theatre

3:30 pm --- Ford’s Theatre – Ranger Program & Petersen House (included) pending

4:45 pm --- Arlington National Cemetery: Kennedy graves, Challenger/Columbia Memorials,

Audie Murphy gravesite, Changing of the Guard @ Tomb of the Unknowns

7:00 pm --- depart Arlington

7:15 pm --- dinner: Pentagon City Mall food court ($12 to each)

8:30 pm --- depart dinner

8:45 pm --- Iwo Jima Memorial – depart 9p

9:30 pm --- arrive at hotel, night chaperone staff on duty

Friday, May 11

6:00 am --- wake up

6:30 am --- full breakfast @ hotel (included)

7:15 am --- load luggage on buses

7:45 am --- depart hotel

9:00 am --- arrive @ U.S. Capitol Building – clear security, see Exhibition Hall

9:30 am --- U.S. Capitol Building tours – pending

11:00 am --- depart for home

11:45 am --- lunch: Lake Forest Mall food court ($8 to each)

12:30 pm --- depart lunch

3:00 pm --- rest stop – Breezewood, PA

6:30 pm --- dinner: fast food – St. Clairsville, OH ($8 to each) depart dinner at 7:30p

9:30 pm --- rest stop

11:00 pm --- arrive back at Bath Middle School
