HCA is a state-approved Kindergarten through 12th Grade school. The mission of Hamilton is to provide a Christ-centered college preparatory education in a disciplined environment. The school also offers extra-curricular activities and athletic opportunities in an effort to help students grow “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52) Information about the school can be found at hcawarriors.org.

Basic qualifications for faculty employment

HamiltonChristianAcademy faculty members must:

  • be a professing Christian and active in a local church.
  • live a lifestyle consistent with conservative biblical principles.
  • be degreed or certified to teach in subject area.
  • have at least a 3.0 grade point average in subject area.

Application Process

  1. Complete this application for employment.
  2. Submit a personal statement including the following:
  • testimony of Christian conversion and experience
  • why you are interested in teaching at HamiltonChristianAcademy
  • your philosophy of teaching and education and how you can contribute to the mission of HCA
  • your approach to discipline in the classroom.
  1. Submit copies of college transcripts.
  2. Submit three letters of recommendation, including one from a staff member at the church you are now attending.
  3. Submit copies of other documents which may support your qualifications such as certifications, previous evaluations, record of continuing education courses, awards, publications, etc.

Other Guidelines

  1. Applications are welcomed at any time to be kept on file. Interviews are by invitation only when an actual opening exists.
  2. All new employees are mandated to submit finger printing for a state and national background check.
  3. Pay is according to a scale set by the HCA School Board and is negotiable on an individual basis.
  4. Faculty members teaching full time who enroll children at the school are eligible for a 50 percent discount in tuition. Tuition may be paid directly or through payroll reduction.
