Booking conditions

Courses

Courses are offered subject to demand and viability. Parks and WildlifeService reserves the right to cancel due to insufficient numbers or other circumstances up to 10 working days prior to commencement. All bookings that are cancelled will be notified and provided with a full refund.

Refunds

Please choose carefully. All requests for refunds must be received by the Volunteers and Community Unit (VCU) at least 10 working days prior to commencement. An administration fee of $16.50 (including GST) may be charged.

Discounts

Volunteers who have registered with a recognised Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre or association and can provide evidence of at least 20 hours of service may apply for a discounted price for the Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation Course. (Please provide a letter of support with your booking form).

Courses can fill quickly – enrol early to ensure your place. Enrolments will be accepted and processed in order of receipt. Latest course information will be available on the website.

What we provide

Expert tuition, all course materials and a comprehensive course manual.

(Manuals are provided on a USB flash drive)

A light morning tea is included in the course fee for Kensington based basic wildlife rehabilitation courses.

Participants are required to provide their own lunch (the nearest food venue is a short drive away)

Venue

Unless stated otherwise training is delivered in the Keiran McNamara Conservation Science Centre located at DPaW headquarters, 17 Dick Perry Avenue, Kensington.
