INT. Telephone Conversation
A telephone conversation is going on between 2 people named Tony and Will. What Tony doesn’t know is that Will and Tony’s girlfriend, Catalina, have plotted to screw him over with this deal.
The telephone rings and Tony picks up the phone. During the scene you don’t see Tony except for his mouth and teeth moving when he talks
Catalina (V.O.)
Tony, get your ass up and get the telephone
Tony
Ok, ok. (Picks up the phone) This is Tony
Will
Tony, good to hear your voice
Tony
What the hell do you want?
Will
Is that a way to talk an old friend? I’ve got a proposition for you.
Tony
I’m done with that kind of business
Will
Come on Tony, it will be the last one, I promise.
Tony
Just like you promised to take care of Catalina.
Will
Tony, I’m sorry about that. I couldn’t restrain myself, you know how it is.
Tony
Hold on. (Ask Catalina) What do you think about doing one lat job?
Catalina
Let’s do it baby
Tony
OK, I’m in!
Will
All right Tony! You won’t be disappointed. I have emailed you the plans and blueprint of the bank.
Tony
Did you say bank? I don’t do bank. It’s too risky
Will
What are you too scared Tony; I can’t believe what I’m hearing…Tony Versetti is scared.
Tony
I’m not scared just cautious
Will

Tony

INT. Robbery
The robbery has already taken place and Tony runs outside only two find his two “friends”
Tony
(Runs out into an alley with a shotgun in his hand, once he turns the corner he stops only two find Will and Catalina with a Mac-10 pointed at him) What’s this?
Catalina
Drop the gun, and please don’t be a hero.
Tony
Ok (lays the gun on the ground) now what’s going on?
Catalina
Toss the bag over to Will
Tony
Ok, no need to get trigger-happy
Will
(Sirens ring in the background) Isn’t it obvious? We screwed you over. Now you go to jail and we make off with the money, isn’t that right Catalina
Catalina
(Slightly nods her head in unsurely)
Will
Right, Catalina?
Tony
Looks like I’m not going to be the only one getting screwed
Catalina
Sorry, Will but this is a business, and well…. nice doing business with you (she shoots Will and kills him)
Tony
Holy shit
The scene ends with Catalina getting in the stinger (a car) and making away with the money. Tony gets 12 years, in prison for armed robbery and murder. In prison Tony and his newfound friend 8-ball are being transported in a SUV to a new prison.
INT. Transportation
No dialogue is taken place during this scene. While
Tony and a few other people were being transported to Portland, the
Colombian Cartel shows up, to rescue one of their own friends, being held in jail. They stop the Convoy and put a timer to blowup the Bridge. The Cartel takes their leader and drives off. Both guards are dead. The camera zooms out 100 feet to which the cars look like ants. At this time the camera in a helicopter view does a 360-degree turn around the area. Then the camera zooms back in at 8-ball
8-ball
We need a ride.
Tony
No problem (steps in front of a car and opens the door of the car and beats down the driver) got your wheels
8-ball
My hands are all messed up so you better drive brother.
Tony
All right, get in.
INT. Car
Tony is driving in the car and at this time we get a glimpse of Liberty City. Many things are shown. A woman is mugged. A cop beats down an innocent man. A prostitute is leaned over a car. Gang bangs. Drug deals are going on. Then the camera focuses on Tony and 8-ball
8-ball
Tony……….Tony!
Tony
Ahh! Yeah, what
8-ball
I know this place we can crash at for a couple of hours. Just make a left here.
Tony
Is this it?
8-ball
I know it’s not much, but it will do. (The car stops)
Tony
(Gets out of the car) Now what
8-ball
Now let’s get a change of clothes and then in a couple of hours I’ll introduce you to my main man Luigi.
INT. Outside
8-ball and Tony ride to Luigi’s club that’s about 3 blocks from there hideout. Then they get out of the car.
8-ball
Yo. Tony, you stay here and I’ll go handle up on some business. (Walks up to a door and knocks on it.)
Bouncer (V.O.)
Who is it?
8-ball
It’s 8-ball. I’m here to see Luigi.
Bouncer
(Opens the door) Hey man! (Hugs 8-ball) Mi casa su casa.
Tony
(Approaches the door)
Bouncer
No. You stay here
A couple of seconds later Luigi comes out and approaches Tony.
Luigi
So you want to get back in the business
Tony
Yeah
Luigi
Ok. (Rubs his chin) I have something for you, are you interested.
Tony
Yeah, what is it
Luigi
There this pimp smacking up my girls, my girls you understand. I need you to deliver a bat, to his face. Then I need you to pick up my girl Misty from the hospital.
Tony
Got it
Luigi
Here, (hands him the bat) now take care of business and don’t fail. The pimp is at the park that you passed by. Just follow the women. (Laughs)
Tony
Ok, I know where to go.
Tony walks in the street with his bat. Tony then examines the streets looking for a vehicle.
Tony
(Approaches a vehicle) If you know what’s good for you’ll get out of the car
Driver
(Puts his ands up, and is thrown out the car by Tony) I know my rights,
Tony
(Gets in and closes the door) Yeah the right to shut the hell up.
Tony drives for about 2 minutes until we get to the park. Then he drives slower, almost like a drive by.
Tony
Do any of you know a girl named Misty?
Pimp
Yeah. I know her. I put her ass in the hospital. Because when you don’t pay Big Mike in cash, I will make sure you pay Big Mike in blood. Ya dig!
Tony
(Gets out the car) Oh I dig. (Walks to the other end of the car) I was wondering where the local baseball team was
Pimp
Why?
Tony
(Opens the passenger door and pulls out the bat) Just curious.
Pimp
What are you doing with that?
Tony
You see, I missed batting practice. It’s a real shame. But I was just in time to talk to Luigi. (Tony starts walking and soon backs the pimp in a corner) Do you know Luigi?
Pimp
Doesn’t he own the sex club?
Tony
Bingo. And do you know Misty?
Pimp
No man
Tony
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Now I thought you said you put her ass in the hospital.
Pimp
Man I haven’t ever heard of no misty
Tony
Ok, now you’re just using double negatives. Which leads me to presume your lying. Now why would you lie to a man with a bat in his hand?
Pimp
I’m telling the truth. I ain’t never heard of no Misty.
Tony
There you go using double wait triple negatives. Now since I am a baseball man, I will give you one last try. (Puts up to fingers) That 2 strikes, one more and your out.
Pimp
Ok, I hit her man. I’m sorry I didn’t know.
Tony
See that was easy. (He starts to walk away from the pimp)
Pimp
So you’re not going to hit me.
Tony
Who me, no. I believe in the 3-strike system.
Pimp
Thank God. I don’t know what to say
Tony
(As he opens the door) But my employer doesn’t
Tony takes the bat and clotheslines the pimp. Once he’s on the ground Tony beats him for several seconds.
Tony
I want you to know that I’m keeping you alive because I’m a nice guy. But! If I ever hear you beating another women. I will find you. And I will KILL YOU. Now repeat after me. I will respect Mr. Luigi and his women.
Pimp
(Mumbles) I will respect Mr. Luigi and his women.
Tony
I can’t hear you.
Pimp
I will respect Mr. Luigi and his women.
Tony
(Walks away to his car then suddenly turns and walks up to the pimp)
Pimp
(Backs away in fear)
Tony
I’m sorry. I was very rude; my name is Tony, Tony Versetti. And I own these streets.
At this time the credits start to roll. While there rolling, Tony gets into his car. As he drives off a groups of onlookers watch him as he drives off. Tony keeps driving until he reaches the hospital. Tony honks for a couple of seconds, and then misty comes out. She looks stunning and dressed like she ready to do business at anytime, She then waits by the passenger side.
Tony
(Rolls down the window) Are you going to get in or what?
Misty
Why don’t you open the door for me sweetheart.
Tony
First of all I’m not sweet and secondly…I don’t have a heart. I work for Luigi, now get in.
Misty
(Opens the door) OK, no need to get a heart attack.
After misty gets in the car, he drives for a couple of seconds, until Tony sees the pimp beating down a woman.
Tony
Hold on (Tony gets out the car and pops the trunk.) Perfect
Misty
What are you going to do with those start up cables?
Tony runs and takes down the pimp who he previously talked to. Tony throws one cable over a tree then the other he uses to tie around the pimps neck. Tony then pulls down the cable attacked to the tree, which then lifts the pimp into the air. He then ties it around the tree stump. And Tony walks away furiously, in a way that demonstrates that Tony isn’t happy. Tony then throws the cables in the back. Then Tony gets in.
Misty
Thank you for taking car of Big Mike
Tony
(Starts up the car)
Fade out
INT. Car conversation
Misty
So you work for Luigi know
Tony
I guess so
Misty
Why did you kill mike
Tony
(sarcastically) What? He’s dead. the pimp who disrespected me Is dead
Misty
What are you talking about?
Tony
My job was to let Big Mike, know that he was not to touch you again. So I delivered a bat to his face. Afterwards I told him to respect Luigi and women…………….or I would kill him
Misty
How did he disrespect you?
Tony
He lied to me, right in my face, in public.
Tony stops at Luigi’s club and gets out of the car. Tony and Misty walk up to the back entrance. Tony is about 8 feet from the door. The bouncer OK’s Misty to come in. A few seconds later. Luigi comes out.
Luigi
Misty told me what happened.
Tony
Sorry Mr. Luigi, it’s just women need more respect, there not rag dolls.
Luigi
No, no. You did good boy, and…………….you didn’t try to screw her.
Tony
I am a man of respect.
Luigi
That is very good, her is your money. If it wouldn’t be much trouble, could you drop her off tomorrow afternoon at my nephew’s?
Tony
Sure
Luigi
Tony, if you keep making me proud, you might get to meet the Don.
Tony
(Smiles and walks away to his car)
INT. Hideout
Tony opens the front door and flops on his bed. Staring at the ceiling for a couple of seconds until.
8-ball
(Opens the front door and startles, Tony.) Hey Tony
Tony
Jesus, you scared me 8-ball
Tony
(Sits up) so what up with you
8-ball
Yo dawg, this nigga Luigi got me working like I’m on a cotton field. I am an explosives expert. Do you understand that Tony.
Tony
Oh, I hear ya! Such an expert that you almost destroyed the bridge.
8-ball
Hey, I had no way of testing that man!
Tony
We’ll it’s a good thing we overheard that old geezer talking on the phone to the cartel, or we would have been making tally marks on the walls on Liberty City cells by now.
8-ball
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. Luigi’s got me stationed at his other hideout. So you are going to be cool alone.
Tony
Man, if I was cool with a couple of hundred inmates, then I think I can manage being alone.
8-ball
Dang man. Hey, so what’s you do today, Luigi’s been talking about you, and he said he might let you do some stuff for Joey…. So what did you do?
Tony
Nothing really (lays down on his bed)
INT.Hideout-Morning
Telephone rings and its Luigi.
Tony
(Opens his eyes as he hears the phone ring, picks up the phone) Yeah!
Luigi
Get up Tony, it’s Luigi.
Tony
Hey, what’s the matter?
Luigi
I need you at the club.
Tony
Be there in 15
Luigi
Make it 10.
