Entry Fee is $25 for 2 events

Conditions of Entry: Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions.

1.Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.

2.Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that BEST seriesrules apply (see attached) and acceptance of these rules.

3.Before riding:

PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office.

4.The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.

5.To be eligible for overall champion at this competition, combination must ride in both events at this competition

6.No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate.

7.Competitors may ride more than one horse competitively subject to the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-laws multiple horse rule.

8.Gear check: All combinations require gear check before riding. Armbands are required to be worn by all competitors

9.All riders must wear complying helmets: AS/NZS 3838, EN1384, ASTMF 1163 or PAS015. Spot checks to ensure compliance may occur.

10.Queries, protests, horse abuse rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws.

11.Dogs are prohibited without exception.

12.Horses must be at least age four, no stallions, colts or rigs.

13.Competitor numbers: Saddle cloth numbers will be provided by the organising committee.

14.Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

15.Entries may be limited – so get in early to avoid disappointment

The following events are run under Table A and the specified Articles contained in the FEI rules.

EQUITATION

This event will be judged like a dressage test over 8 – 12 obstacles and normal showjumping penalties apply which are deducted from the overall score.

AM5 – Article 238 2.2

A Competition consisting of 1 round and a jump-off. Riders who complete the first round without

penalties return for a second round against the clock after all riders have completed the first round.

Other riders are placed according to their penalties and time in the first round.
