Entries: Non members can “hometown” one weekend, in the winter and one weekend, in the summer, however, a release signed by parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must be provided. There is an additional $5 per day hometown fee. This fee is in addition to the entry fees. If points are acquired they will not be counted. All rodeo secretaries will take entries the Monday before the rodeo from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The entry numbers and rodeo schedule will be published in “The Wrangler.” Late entries are up to the rodeo committee. Late entries, if permitted, will run as follows: contestant will run last in barrels and poles and at the top of the draw in all other events

Entries: Non members can “hometown” two(2) weekends (4 days) per season however a release signed by parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must be provided along with a copy of your birth certificate. There is an additional $15 per day hometown fee. This fee is in addition to the entry fees. If points are acquired they will be counted if you sign up by the end of the rodeo on the Sunday of your hometown weekend. If you hometowned 2 weekends, only the points from the rodeo that you turned in your COMPLETED paperwork will count. Points from both rodeos will not count. The rodeo secretary will take entries the Monday before the rodeo from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The entry numbers and rodeo schedule will be published in “The Wrangler.” Late entries will not be allowed.

Turnout Fine:A fine of $20.00 per rodeo will be applied to all turnouts in which no notification is given (excluding Vet and Medical releases). Member will become ineligible until fine has been paid to the rodeo committee.

Contestants may count points from half (1/2) the rodeos in the summer series, with no less than five (5) rodeos, in each event toward finals (eg. If there are 12 rodeos, then the six best points in each event will be carried into finals. If there are only 8 rodeos, then the best five will be used.)In the event that there are fewer than 10 rodeos it will be required that you attend half of those rodeos to go to state finals.( ex. If there are 8 rodeos , you will be required to enter and compete in 4 of the rodeos.)

Contestants will take all points earned as a member in that season to state finals.

The executive committee will set up and administer a scholarship fund. Series End All Around winners shall receive a $50 scholarship for the Winter Series and a $100 scholarship for the Summer Series. Scholarship funds will be paid within 30 days of secretary or treasurer receiving from the contestant, a receipt from a rodeo clinic said contestant participated in. Funds shall be requested prior to graduating high school or contestant forfeits scholarship and funds will be added to the general fund. In addition there will be a benefit paid to outgoing seniors who have been an active member of the WJRA for a minimum of 2 years that want to pursue rodeo at the high school level. If you are an outgoing senior who has been active with the WJRA for a minimum of 2 years, qualify for and attend state finals during your outgoing season, simply turn in your high school membership number and you will be reimbursed $200 of your card fee.
