Hillwalking Community Radio Group:

There will be two Community Walks at10:30amonSaturday September9th from the hall Lisvernane. Registration is Free at10am; a contribution would be welcome. There will also be a coffee morning at11am, cakes welcome. A free raffle for all participants. Funds raised will go towards the cost of providing Emergency Communications across the Galtee Mountains.

Buttercup Pre & after School:

Buttercup Pre & after School will be open from12.30pm- 2/3pm to collect all junior infants finished early for the first 2 weeks. Contact 087 2065314 to book your child in advance. Urging all parents to register your child early for after school. Please note: Children must be booked in advance. ALSO: More affordable childcare now available. Ballyhoura Comhltas Music Lessons:
Enrolment for music lessons for the coming year is onFriday September 1st between6 and 8pmin Scoil Fhionain, Kilfinane.
Lessons are available in tin whistle, flute, banjo, fiddle, button accordion and this year the concertina has been added to the list of instruments being taught. Instruments can be hired and there are discounts available for families.

Ballylanders Senior Footballers defeated Ballysteen 2-12 to 1-12 in Ballyagran on Friday night in the County Senior Football championship.

Line Out: Declan O’Connor, Maurice Kelly, Shane Fox, Eoin Martin, Eoin O’Mahony 0-3,

Steven Fox 0-1, Steven Walsh (Capt.), James Kirby, Mark O’Connell, Kevin O’Donnell, Ciaran Kelly 1-1, Danny Frewen 0-2, J.B. Murphy, Eoin Walsh 1-0 and Kieran O’Callaghan 0-5.
