BACK GROUND
Water is necessary for life. Human beings and animals cannot live without water. Even in these times vast areas of Pakistan have no proper facility of clean drinking water.
All those areas affected by floods in 2010 and 2011 face a serious threat to human life. Quality of this water is mostly not fit-for human being. In many cases, water is transported by women and children over a distance of miles in difficult regions. Shortage of water forces the poor population to drink unhygienic water and consequently fall prey of several water-borne diseases. People move from one place to another or fetch water from very distant places.
By sinking hand pumps, pure clean and safe water could be pumped out at number of locations, presently without facility. It is cost effective mechanism and simple to operate. Our team has worked out some 15 places where this system is feasible.
Project Details
BPHWF&CHO has installed 11 Water Hand Pumps in Panoo Aqil Sukkur district in Interior Sindh. Detail summary of the affected areas where these 11 water hand pumps are installed, is hereunder:

Project Agreement between Mr. Adnan Khan Abbasi (Contractor) NIC 4550155710489 and Mr. Muhammad Zakeen Khan (Representative of BPHWF) NIC 8210224194187 dated on 25-12-2011 Above Term and Conditions were settled between both. Project Completion Period was 15 days after Completion of project on dated 12-01-2012 Mr. Adnan Khan Abbasi has received above mention amount 2 lakh 94 thousand 6 hundred from Muhammad Zakeen Khan. There is no outstanding amount and pending work.
