The degree Bachelor of Music/Teacher Certification is 120 hours, not including

remedial coursework. The student should understand that dropping, failing, or

having to retake any coursework will make it difficult to graduate in four years.

Students should attempt to pass the piano proiciency by the end of the fourth

semester. To be admitted to the Education Program in the fourth or fifth semester,

the student must have a 2.5 grade-point average for six hours of English, have

completed 60 hours with no grade below a C in the major area, and have an

overall (all coursework) gpa of at least 2.75.
