OFFICIAL NOTICE

Pursuant to the direction of the Dubuque County Zoning Board of Adjustment, notice is hereby given to all interested citizens of Dubuque County, Iowa that on TUESDAY, April 1 , 2014 AT 7:00 P.M., at the Emergency Services Training Facility, 14928 Public Safety Way (off Seippel Road) Dubuque, Iowa a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the following proposals:

BA#04-06-14 Heath & Bonnie Drone Variances

The applicants are requesting two variances. A 20’ left side yard variance to the required 50’ ft. side yard setback in order to build a 42’x 60’ shed 30’ from the property line and a 4’ height variance to the 14.5’ height required in order to construct the shed 4’ taller than the primary structure in the

R-1, Rural Residential zoning district. The property, located 1.5 miles southwest of the City of Dubuque along Humke Road, is legally described as Lot 6 of Kress Subdivision, Section 27 (T89N R1E) Center Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

BA#04-07-14 Jeff & Debra Rausch/Kasey Rausch & Amber Yarolem Special Use Permit

The applicants are requesting a Special Use Permit to allow for a 14’x 70’ manufactured home to remain on the property as a second home on the farm in the A-1, Agricultural zoning district. The property located 3.5 miles west of the City of Asbury just off Asbury Road at the end of Ludescher Lane is legally described as Lot 2 of the E ½ of the NW ¼ Section 18 (T89N R1E) Center Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

BA#04-08-14 Joseph & Christy Hinderman Variance

The applicants are requesting a 23’ front yard variance to the 80’ required in order to construct a 108’x 64’ single family dwelling 57’ from the front property line in a PC, Planned Complex zoning district. The property, located 7.5 miles southeast of the City of Dubuque along St Catherine Road is legally described as Lot 1 of Green Acres Farm, Section 31 (T88N R4E) Mosalem Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.
