ACTION POINTS:

a) Sandra: ensure that trucks loaded stay in the premises of the warehouses for the night.

b) Sandra: return the boat belonging to SCF if it is not used by the Cluster.

1.AIROPS (Helicopters).(Urban)

10rotations of 29.96 tons of cargo transported.

29 tons of food for Canga and 0.96tons were Unicef NFIs.

Tomorrow’s operations are as per the distributed proposed plan to transport food to Canga and Ncassano.

2.BOATS.(Sandra)

-the 7MT is yet to be back to Caia.

-10MT is transporting food from Marromeu-Ilha de Salia.

-7.5MT, 8MT,4.5 and 5MT are doing Chola/Sena-Mutarara with WFP food.

-30MT arrived in Caia from Mutarara. It will load for Chinde as well as take kits for Concern from Marromeu to Chinde.

Tomorrow:

-4 boats, 7.5MT, 8MT, 4.5 and 5MT will continue shuttling between Chola/Sena and Mutarara with WFP food.

-30Mt will be based in Marromeu for Marromeu-Chinde operation.

3. TRUCKS. (Leon) (1 truck is broken)

-2 trucks were loading the choppers.

-I truck will stay in Marromeu for loading the 30MT boat, 3 trucks left for Chola/Sena, 1 truck left for Chemba and 2 to Mopeia

-Beira has been asked to send the trucks loaded with food directly to Mopeia.

-Truck sent since Thursday last week from Beira to Tambara has not yet arrived. Jo, (Concern) is checking on its whereabouts.

-3 trucks left today from Beira to Tambara.

For tomorrow:

-1 truck will go to Marromeu, 25 ton will be loading the 30MT boat, 1 truck expected from Marromeu.

4.WAREHOUSING. (Thomas Goransson)

-NFI inventory is underway in collaboration with Unicef.

-stock cards are been put in place for NFIs.

CMR tracking sheet was distributed as usual.

5. VEHICLE MOVEMENT: Nothing to report.

6. Miscellaneous:

-700 ltrs of JetA1 fuel was discovered missing. Police have arrested some suspects and recovered some of the fuel.

-WFP Base Manager in Quelimane is checking on road conditions to Maganja de Costa.

-staff are been reminded once again about their personal security etc.

-partners were told about the winding down of Cluster activities since the emergency is no longer in the red phase.

-tomorrow’s meeting will be at 16:00hrs.
