·  Follow-up with the suppliers on each purchase orders placed by the buyers from the assigned group and update the delivery status in Oracle.

·  Review the Purchase Order delivery schedule weekly and ensure delivery by liaising with the suppliers.

·  In case of non-delivery of orders as promised by the suppliers, follow-up with the suppliers in question and keep the respective buyer and Operations informed.

·  Once the PO is approved in line with Company policies, send the approved PO to supplier with copies to Expeditor. Any additional copies of the order are to be sent to different individuals as instructed by Purchase Manager.

·  Checking and processing of Material Requisitions (MR) and follow up with User Depts. on MR related queries

·  Sending out RFQs to appropriate suppliers.

·  Receiving and Evaluating supplier quotes, negotiating with suppliers and raising Purchase Orders.(PO)

·  Liaising with Controllers and other approving authorities on PO related queries and resolving them
