Please enclose payment if paying by cheque or money order for $50 (application fee (non-refundable)), with your application form and supporting documents, payable to: Association of Workplace Educators of Nova Scotia. Aninvoice will be sent via PayPal when your application is received unless an alternative payment method is included with your application.

Next steps:

  1. Upon receipt of your AWENS membership application an AWENS representative will contact you to set up a meeting or conference call to review your application. The application process may be reviewed prior to receiving the application form.
  1. Your application will then be forwarded to, and reviewed by, the membership committee.
  1. Following this meeting, a letter of validation based on the committeedecision will be sent out to you.

If you are approved by the AWENS membership committee, the letter will include an invoice for the annual membership fee.

Canadian anti-spam legislation (CASL)

Have you heard about the new Canadian anti-spam legislation (CASL) that came into effect on July 1st, 2014?

Toobey the new legislation, businesses must follow three simple rules when sending a commercial electronic message:
