Thank you for your continued efforts to provide exceptional care and services that enrich the lives of Manitoba residents.

The first award,in the category of Recreation Therapy Services goes to East Gate Lodge Recreation Department.

The Recreation staff thought all the residents should have the opportunity to go Christmas shopping as they had in the past, and feel that joyous excitement of preparing for the Christmas Season. So nine years ago, the staff started an annual Christmas Shopping Day!

Today, it has grown into quite the event with local businesses setting up tables in the recreation room every year, offering lovely and appropriate gift items that residents, family and community members can purchase. Currently there is a waiting list of interested businesses hoping to get in on the fun.

CongratulationsEast Gate Lodge Recreation Department!
