And, how does HR innovation enable firms to compete better?These are the measuring criteria against which you will be scored by the judges, wherein the winners will have outdone the rest.”

The judges will give your entry a score for each of the four sections contained in this entry form:
(i.) Vision & goals; (ii.) Implementation; (iii.) Impact; and (iv.) Future initiatives.

This section is for you to provide an overview of your HR innovation and to define and set out for the judges the vision and objective(s) of your plan. Any sensitive or confidential information which is to be used for judging purposes only should be highlighted in red.
Here are some prompts to help you get started:
§  Provide an overview of your HR innovation strategy.
§  What was the objective of your innovation? What was the outcome you were looking for?
§  What business problem did you want to solve with your plan; what business opportunities were you looking to pursue?
§  How did you get buy-in from top management and line-of-business managers?

2. Implementation
This section is for you to outline how you implemented your HR innovation and to set out for the judges how you pursued the objectives outlined in your plan. Any sensitive or confidential information which is to be used for judging purposes only should be highlighted in red.

§  How was your HR innovation strategy communicated to all stakeholders?
§  How did you keep your plan on track – on time and under budget?
§  How did you maintain continued support from key stakeholders?
§  What problems were encountered during implementation and how did you solve them?
§  What elements of your HR innovation plan were easier or more difficult than you thought at first?

3. Impact
This section is for you to outline how your HR innovation added tangible benefits to your organisation. Any sensitive or confidential information which is to be used for judging purposes only should be highlighted in red.

§  What were the primary and secondary results of your HR innovation strategy?
§  What business/commercial benefits did your strategic plan deliver?
§  What were the unintended positive consequences of your innovative strategy?
§  What did key stakeholders, such as top management and line managers, say after your HR innovation was implemented?

4. Future initiatives
