An ASUCD Senate Bill to allocate $380.00 from Senate Reserves to purchase one ad poster, one display poster, three hundred vouchers, three hundred small stickers, and three hundred die-cut stickers.

BACKGROUND: Senator Jamaludin, the Pantry, the Coffee House, and Creative Media have been collaborating on a Pay-It-Forward program to raise awareness about food insecurity on campus. All the relevant parties agreed to begin this program with pizza slices from Ciao because of its high visibility and accessibility. The goals of this program are to 1) distribute three hundred pizza slices by the end of the spring quarter 2) begin a sustainable partnership between the Coffee House and the Pantry.

This one time allocation will allow for us to create a brand for this Pay-It-Forward program that is compliant with the ASUCD marketing policy. The display poster will state how the program works, while the progress poster will be an interactive platform where students can paste their pepperoni stickers to show their contribution. The black and white vouchers will indicate what type of pizza was donated. The Die-Cut stickers will be an added incentive to contribute to the Pay-it-Forward program ( the first three hundred students to buy a slice for another aggie will receive them). The quarter sheets will be used to flyer for the program throughout the launch day (TBA).

As seen during the ASUCD Winter election and other student initiatives, marketing, and branding is key to increasing visibility. We hope that this Pay-It-Forward program will continue even after all marketing materials have been distributed. Out of all the branding materials, Campus Copies can only print the vouchers. The rest will be outsourced to Copyland and Sticker Mule.
