AUSKF 2012 SUMMER SEMINAR CAMP (July 20 – 22, 2012)

Dates/Times:

  • Friday, July 20: 2:30pm – 3:30pm registration, 3:30pm - 7pm seminar
  • Saturday, July 21: 8am – 9am registration, 9am – 4pm seminar
  • Saturday, July 21: 6pm – 8:00pm Camp Dinner Party
  • Sunday, July 22: 8:30am – 12noon seminar
  • Sunday, July 22: 1pm – 4pm, Promotion Exams (note: must attend camp to be eligible for this camp promotion exams)

Camp Fee: $65 (Camp fee only)

Sat/Sun Bento: $10 per bento/day

Transportation/Fee (to/from HQ hotel and UNLV gym only):

  • $10/day for use of shuttle bus (you may use own transportation if desired)
  • Pre-registration and payment is required for use of shuttle
  • Participants may use shuttle bus whether or not staying at HQ hotel
  • Transportation from LV Airport to Hotel or Gym is on own
  • Sunday afternoon only, a shuttle is available from UNLV gym to airport or from UNLV gym return to HQ hotel
  • Transportation from HQ hotel to LV Airport is on own

  • Date/Time: Saturday, July 21: 6:00pm to 8:30pm (Buffet service ends at 8:00pm!)
  • Cost: $30/person (includes tax/tip/1-soft drink…alcoholic beverages available at own cost)
  • Transportation: AUSKF “shuttle” will depart from headquarters hotel at 5:45pm sharp! Return to hotel at 9:00pm. Cost of shuttle is included in “Saturday transportation fee”.

Accommodations (Location): May use HQ hotel or may make own reservations at hotel of own choice

Sunday night, 7/22:$ 47.50 (includes 13% room tax)

* Only 35 rooms are secured with this rate (first come first served)

  • Due to the “special rate”, AUSKF is taking care of the room reservations, DO NOT contact the hotel directly. We have asked Quality Plus Tours to volunteer to assist us with this process.

-2:00 PM: Shuttle Bus departs HQ hotel: Golden Nugget (Carson Tower-formerly South Tower)

-3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Camp registration

- 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Seminar- Bokuto ni yoru kendo kihon-waza keiko-ho/Godo-keiko

-7:30 PM: Shuttle bus departs UNLV, return to HQ hotel

  • Saturday, 7/21:

-7:30 AM: Shuttle Bus departs HQ hotel: Golden Nugget (Carson Tower)

-8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Camp registration

-9:00 AM – 12 Noon: Seminar (Part 1)

-12 Noon – 1:00 PM: Lunch (on own or order bento)

-1:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Seminar (Part 2)/Godo Keiko (if time permits)

-4:00 PM: Shuttles depart for HQ hotel

-5:45 PM (sharp!): Shuttles depart HQ hotel for Makino Buffet Restaurant

-9:00 PM: Shuttles return from restaurant to HQ hotel

  • Sunday, 7/22:

-7:30 AM: Shuttle Bus departs HQ hotel: Golden Nugget (Carson Tower)

-8:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Seminar/Godo Keiko (if time permits)

-Conclusion of 2012 AUSKF Summer Camp

-12:15 PM – 1:15 PM: Lunch (on own or order bento)

-1:15 PM: (1at Departure) Airport Shuttle and HQ hotel Shuttle departs (make reservation!)

-1:15 PM – 1:45 PM: Check-in for Promotion Exams (Summer Camp Participants only)

-2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Promotion Exams (Summer Camp Participants only)

-5:30 PM: (2nd Departure) Airport Shuttle and HQ hotel Shuttle departs (make reservation!)
