Audition Instructions:

AUDITION APPLICATION

  1. Review the information for auditions in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) booklet on the grad page at
  2. Complete the Application.

3. Email the application to by the final registration deadline on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

4. Speakers - Email a copy of the speech with your application.

5. Musical Performers - Type out the lyrics to your song and email it with

your application. Please do not sendphotocopies of copyrighted material.

6. Microphones and music stands will be provided. A

keyboard maybe available, but is not guaranteed. Please note on your application if you would like us to inquire on the availability of one for audition day. If you have your own keyboard that you can bring, that is preferred. Also note on your application if you need a CD player.

7. A note about content. As in any performance, be sure to consider your audience (students and families) and choose material that is inspiring and appropriate fora graduation ceremony. If in doubt, contact the graduation coordinator at .

No Speech/Performance Applications will be accepted
after Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

AUDITION DAY

  1. Auditions will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the New Life Church Student Chapel.
  2. Please arrive at 4:00 and sign in. You will be given last minute instructions and auditions will begin shortly thereafter. You will audition in the order in which you arrive and sign in.
  3. Speakers - You may use note cards but memorized speeches are recommended.
  4. Musical Performers - Please bring an original copy of your music to the

audition and show it to the judges. They only need to see it briefly – you will be able to use it for your audition.

  1. Practice, prepare, and polish!! We want to see a finished product on audition day. You will be judged based on how you perform that day.
