Sugarcreek Bird Farm will take a limited number of consignments for the Bird Expo. If you would like to enter your bird(s) in the auction, fill out the form below, mail it along with a $35 registration fee for each bird to be sold.

1.) No minimum bid – Whatever your bird bids up to is the selling price. You get 80% and 20% goes to the auctioneer, Charley Schuerholz.
2.) Minimum Bid – Place a minimum bid on your bird. If your bird is sold, you get 80% and the auctioneer gets 20%. If the bidding doesn’t reach your minimum, it is not sold but there is still a $25 handling fee.
Guidelines to Remember
- All birds must be sold with a cage (no carriers, they need to be visible.)
- Registration closes 10 days before the auction and sometimes before depending on the number of consignments registered, so get in early!
- Limited numbers of certain species will be accepted and we reserve the right to limit the number of lots from each consignee.
- Sugarcreek Bird Farm reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason and the right to remove any bird from the auction, the day of the auction.
As owner of the consigned bird(s), I hereby declare that, to the best of my knowledge, are free of any known disease or impairments and agree to furnish proof of ownership if asked to do so. I agree to pay the sum of 20% of the auction sale price to the auctioneer, C. Schuerholz if the bird sells. If the bird does not meet the minimum bid and therefore does not sell, I agree to pay a handling fee of $25 per bird. I further agree that if I reach a private agreement with a buyer, either prior to or after the auctions, regarding a bird that did not meet the minimum bid and therefore not sold by the auctioneer, I will pay the sum of 10% of whatever price the bird is sold privately for.
