ATTENTION F’BURG LADIES!

GOOD NEWS: We were again granted two slots for Vegas for the Ladies Division! From the Spring Session, we will advance the playoff winner to the Vegas Cup. Even if your team is already Vegas Cup qualified, you will participate in the playoffs if you make it. Remember, your goal is to limit the number of teams in the Vegas Cup; therefore, no runner-up team to a qualified team will advance. The playoffs will be as follows: 1st vs. an eligible wildcard and 2nd vs. 3rd. The winners will play in the finals (dates and locations are listed on your schedules). Each player must have played a minimum of four times to be eligible to participate in the playoffs. Dues are $30 for both rounds of playoffs.

Please write “Register Us” on your scoresheet if your team is playing next session, or “Not Playing,” if you’re not. It would be helpful to know this information as soon as possible.

ATTENTION MASTERS!

From the Spring 2017 session, we will advance to the 2017 Vegas Cup the highest overall total point winner and the playoff winner. All members of the team winning total points and the team winning the playoffs will receive awards. If the highest total point winner or playoff winner from Spring is already Vegas Cup qualified from Fall, NO runner-up teams will advance in their place(s). Teams will compete in the playoffs and play to a winner, for the trophies and glory, even if they’re already qualified. Why? By requalifying, you are eliminating the number of teams you would have to compete against in the Vegas Cup. At the end of this session, the first round playoff schedule will be as follows: 2nd vs. an eligible wildcard and 3rd vs. 4th. The two first round winners will play in the finals. Playoff teams, including the wildcard, can only be found on our website at centralvirginia.apaleagues.com. Dates and locations for the playoffs are on your original schedules and our site
