New Business: Dick’s Sporting Goods: Brandon presenting his availability and how he can work with the directors of the various sports. Getting info on what directors like to see in the coaches kits, etc. Football could use a few more of the junior balls this season. Basketball is not supported through kits at Dicks at this time. Soccer used to have coaches meetings etc at the store, and then felt the previous contact dropped the ball on helping the soccer program. Would like to see dark green socks. Brandon is working on making sure that the store is fully stocked on the green gear we mentioned by our next shopping day. Starter kits are important for the younger kids for spring soccer. Amy put together a calendar for Brandon on the dates that sports start so he can get ahead on making sure the store has the proper merchandise we are looking for. The money we get from Dicks is based on the relationship – so if we have better attended shop days we have the opportunity to get more OTP money from them. Brandon would like to ensure it is beneficial for us as far as having more merchandise and colors we prefer. Football has a partnership through JMFA, so Dicks can have a friendly competition amongst the teams that shop. Brandon can look into other sports doing something similar. Lacrosse has had meetings in the past to have the right merchandise, and it hadn’t worked out well, however, the number of shoppers was high. Coaches kits were good. The Belmar store generally has more lacrosse merchandise – so Brandon will work on getting additional into the SW Plaza location. Baseball got buckets of balls, line up sheets, $100 gift card to buy equipment. Softball received coaches kits the year before, so they felt they were good with what they had. Asked for gift cards as an alternate, and the previous contact was not very accommodating. The three year agreement we had will expire and he will be looking at a new contract that would include exactly what each sport would receive. Jack did not know they got anything for golf – not usually a big item they create, but can do balls and t’s, which is a need.

New Business: Pam suggested a BJCSA days so that people can get to know everyone and an appreciation night. We could use the space by the shed for tents and food. To send out survey.

Claude – all sport do their individual surveys – would be good to do one overall so that all directors and board would have access.
