Good morning, Lieutenant Przespolewski-

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how delightful it was to have Deputy Corey Edmond and Deputy Chris Meyer attend our first-ever historical bike tour in Bonita Springs this past weekend. Corey and Chris were an integral part of the reason the tour was such a success. They provided the guidance and safety protocols necessary when herding 35+ cyclists through a redeveloping downtown environment. Not only did they provide the safety component of the ride itself, but they were a great addition to the event by providing insightful and helpful safety tips for members of the community who reached out to them at the event. I really cannot say enough about how AWESOME they were.

I am hopeful that when we start planning next year’s ride I can have Corey and Chris to help me out, even in the earlier stages of planning. Perhaps they can attend a Bike/Ped meeting or two when we get closer to the event date.

On behalf of the City of Bonita Springs Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee, thank you SO much for providing their services to us and to the community.

Sincerely,

Lindsay F. Rodriguez, MPA

Planning Technician
