Attendance: Chaomin Luo, Bob Adams, Kimball Williams
Called to order at 7:13 by Chaomin Luo.
· No minutes from last month – last meeting was brief discussion about a summer technical event.
· Old business (February) –
o Attendance of spring conference
§ Bob & Kimball attended
o Website updated
§ Bob to ask members for new information for website
§ Add minutes to website
§ Add technical references (Dr. Luo to send links to Bob Adams), officer pictures
· New business –
o Search for technical events (Fall conference or otherwise)
§ UDmercy resources available
§ Potential speakers from local companies
§ Need to just do it (plan meeting and then promote to members)
o Wavelengths
§ Launch of e-wavelengths is happening this month or possibly next month
§ Wavelengths is always in need of content from the local chapters
§ Chair of IEEE student branch at UD-Mercy, Adam Fuchs, has written an article, Bob Adams will ask him to provide a link to Kimball Williams.
o Search for vice-chair for Systems, Man, & Cybernetics
§ Bob Adams to search eNotice functionality to ask SMC members for volunteers
o Search for treasurer for Chapter 16
§ Bob Adams to search eNotice functionality to ask SMC/CIS members for volunteers
o Meeting options
§ vTools allow agenda to be modified on Google Drive up to the meeting start
§ Hangouts on Air/YouTube recorded technical presentations
· Problem with recording attendance and a loss of human interaction
o Chapter funds
§ Sean Che was treasurer, we appear to have the standard $200 chapter funds.
