A Remote Participation Event

Background:

In conjunction with the remoteRemote and Rural Healthcare Educational Allianceand other national partners, the Joint Improvement Team invite you to a ‘Remote Participation Event’ to follow upour national integration event held in Edinburgh on June 12th. Up toten venues across Scotland will host ajointseminar linked by video conferenceto share the best content and material from Integrating for Better Outcomes.

Objectivesfor the eventare:

  • To focus on thedelivery of the National Outcomes for Health & Wellbeing, through the integration of health and social care.
  • To share examples of practice across Scotland.
  • To generate peer review and support.
  • To test a new model of remote participation for a diverse group of practitioners.

The programme will include:

  • Address by Alex Neil MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing and Peter Johnston, Health and Well-being Spokesperson, COSLA
  • Worldwide examples of integration by Nick Goodwin, CEO, International Foundation for Integrated Care
  • Workshops and Plenary sessions: Insights on what is working well, discovering common themes and opportunities for improvement focussed around the Outcomes for Integration.

This event is for:

People in integrated teams, people working in localities and people at the point of care and support, as well as practitioners and managers from social care, housing and health care across statutory and non-statutory sectors.
