FUNDING APPLICATION
ALA 2016Vienna
The stipends will be awarded to enable participants to present their research at ALA 2016 in Vienna. The maximum stipend per applicant that is possible from the Association for Language Awareness is £800 or an equivalent sum.Please convert all sums into pounds sterling.
Please note that only applications from those whose membership of ALA has been registered for 2016 will be considered.
Applicants may apply for a stipend under one of three categories. Please state the stipend category for which you are applying below.
1. Long-term ALA members (at least 5 years) (2 stipends).
2. Student members, including PhD students (students should still not have graduated until after the conference, and proof of current student status should be attached to the email application) (3 stipends).
3. Members resident in one of the countries designated by the European Educational Research Association as Low GDP countries (3 stipends). See information sheet for further details on Low GDP countries.
