RE: APPRECIATION FOR SUPPORT TO 10TH AHILA BIENNIAL CONGRESS
As you are aware, the 10th AHILA 10 Biennial Congress was successfully held at the Sun n’ Sand in Mombasa, Kenya held in Mombasa from 23rd –27th October 2006. The theme of the Congress was “Millennium Development goals and Health lath Information Provision in Africa.
The Kenya chapter of AHILA (KEN-AHILA) KEN-AHILA and and AHILA 10 The Local Organizing Committee wish to registerr their their sincere appreciation for NLM’s your generous contribution and support towards the success of the Congress. We are happy to be associated with NLM..
The Congress realized participation of some 126 delgates drawn from 28 contries around the World and with diverse professional backgrounds. A total of – high quality .presentations were delivered . The HIFA 2015 campaign for Health Information for All by 2015 was also launched during the congress. The campaign goal is that – “by 2015, every person worldwide will have access to an informed healthcare provider”
As part of the deliberations,Delegates drew up seven resolutions linked to the theme and sub-themes of the Congress.
The total number of participants was 126 from 28 countries and from diverse backgrounds. The HIFA 2015 campaign for Health Information for All by 2015 was launched during the congress. The campaign goal is that – “by 2015, every person worldwide will have access to an informed healthcare provider” The Congress came up with 7 resolutions that are linked to the theme and sub-themes of the Congress.
