Assistant Professor/Professor of Practice
Centre College invites applications for a continuing instructor or assistant professor, tenure-track assistant professor, or a professor of practice to join the Economics andFinanceProgram beginning August 2016. Successful candidates must be able to cover introductory accounting coursesas well as contributeother courses in support ofthe major such as Managerial Finance and upper-level electives of interest to the faculty member.The normal annual teaching load is 6 courses over an academic year. The successful candidate will display a commitment to excellent teaching and mentoring undergraduates in a residential liberal arts college as well as a commitment to professional development appropriate for status. Previous teachingexperience and/or experience in the finance/accounting profession ishighly desirable.
