ASSESSMENT SURVEY METHODOLOGY

Introduction

In the past weeks, rising cases of acute watery diarrhea have been registeredin Baga LGA and Kukawa LGA (Cross Kauwa, Kukawa, Doro Baga, Baga town). This has prompted Solidarités in partnership with ALIMA and Action Against Hunger to intervene in the aforementioned areas to control the outbreak.

As a result of the intervention, there has been a significant reduction in the number of recorded cases of acute diarrhea in Baga areas.

However, there is a clear need to assess the affected areas in order to ascertain the WASH needs of the people and the available facilities and interventions to implement to address the gap andimprove the wash situation of the impacted area.
