Task / Web Page Header
Objective:
The first and foremost thing that will stand out about your website is its header. A well designed header will immediately attract the viewer’s attention, which should be the main goal. Once you catch someone’s attention, you also capture their interest and curiosity, and they are much more likely to spend more time on your website and return again in the future. Without aproper header, it will be more tricky to accomplish this, so you should make designing a witty header one of your main priorities.
Brief:
To create a web page header to be used in a future project for an Outdoor Adventure Travel Company
Using a combination of Illustrator and photoshop, design a web page header that will be used in a future project for an Outdoor Adventure Travel Company
Choose a suitable name for your company. Utilize the logo you have designed in Assessment Task 3 to include in your header

·  Outdoor Extravaganza
·  On The Edge Adventure Tours

Prepare at least 3 thumbnail sketches in your Visual Diary(of the wide layout) – see below
After you get approval for one of them, then you can go ahead and complete the design in Photoshop (using a combination of placed Illustrator artwork and photographic image styles)
Design Your Header
You will design with a resolution of 180 dpi, which you can later scale down to screen resolution, 72 dpi.

1920 X 240 px
Look at some tutorials for some ideas. Don’t necessarily use all the stages in them, just the creative ideas. Remember you are designing for your outdoor adventure company

Design your header in such a way that you can manipulate the layers to reflect the 3 sizes. The desktop layout could be as wide as 1920px. Modify your design to reflect the 3 viewing ports.
Export the Headers in the 3 appropriate sizes in the appropriate file format, jpg’s or png’s.
