1.  APOLOGIES

Ivan Sharp – no reason given.

2.  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Cllrs Coleman and Saunders declared their Tenancy of the Poor’s Allotment.

3.  MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

The minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 6th May 2014 were agreed as a true and correct record and signed by the Chairman accordingly.

7.02 The chairman closed the meeting for public speaking.

4.  PUBLIC SPEAKING

Mr Sharpe is unable currently to produce the newsletter – someone needs finding urgently to offer support. The next one is published on the 1st September, so help is needed by 10th August when it begins production.

The village Fete is taking place on Saturday 12th July. A Flyer will be distributed.

No crimes have been reported in the village 5th May to 30th June 2014.

6.  CORRESPONDENCE.

6.1. None received.

7.  THE COMMON.

Cllr Hewitt reported that she had a conversation with Mr Rob Lewis who has emailed Nigel Dixon. Mr Lewis is the Senior Environmental Protection Officer at North Norfolk District Council. There needs to be a co-ordinated approach. Ian Sharman has taken over the register of records of Common Land, and is happy to attend site and mark boundaries.

NEXT AGENDA.

8.  THE POOR’S ALLOTMENT.

Cllr Buxton reported that the new Scheme, moving the Poor’s Allotment to a new, independent Board of Trustees has been submitted to the Charity Commission. When the answer is received it is proposed to call a public meeting.

9.  REVIEW OF POLICIES.

Training Policy - AGREED unchanged.

10 FINANCIAL MATTERS.

10.1 The bank statements were examined and signed as agreeing to reconciliation produced.

10.2 Receipts

a)  50% Precept 2014/15 £1819.00

b)  Consolidated Stock – 1st April 2014 £ 0.40

c)  Advertisements (£15 each) – Dorringtons, Mr D Ward, Danco, SMT Motors £60.00

10.3 Payments were AGREED for:-

a)  Mrs S Hunt for work carried out May and June 2014 chq 337717 £196.80

b)  HMRC - March/April return chq 337718 £ 48.00

c)  Mr N Sharpe – Newsletter May/June chq 337719 £ 40.37

d)  Norfolk alc – Insurance chq 337720 £204.94

e)  Mrs S Hunt – expenses – postage chq 337721 £ 22.13

11.  PLANNING MATTERS.

APF/14/0410 – variation of 13/1240, Chestnut Hollow, Rectory Road. Increased depth of side extension and alteration to fenestration and door – Permitted. Noted

Advertisement out – closing date 31.7.14

13.  ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA.

To consider whether Ashmnahaugh should apply for a first time Rural Sewerage Scheme.
