This session will explore what each type of measure is and the strengths/benefits and weaknesses/challenges of each. The OECD will share its experience with these indicators, drawing in particular on the indicators constructed and monitored in the context of Going for Growth.

Presentation will cover several methodologies for measuring progress and will provide examples based of assessments on the progress of structural policies in Japan. It also will explore assessments done by international organizations.
