ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth
The Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is considered the premier educational and scientific event in the oncology community and we are pleased that you are considering exhibiting within the ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth. The ASCO Annual Meeting will be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, from May 30 – June 3, 2014. The Oncology Professionals Hall will be open May 31 to June 2from 9:00 AMto 5:00 PM.
The ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth, located near the main entrance of the Oncology Professionals Hall, is designed to give not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations an opportunity to promote their programs, services, and resources to the professional oncology community. The booth provides a venue where participants can display materials and where physicians and patient advocates can meet, interact, and exchange information. The ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth is Booth Number 3005.
The 28 patient advocacy organizations in the ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth will receive two complimentary passes to attend the non-ticketed Annual Meeting sessions. Each organization will also receivea maximum of 5 exhibitor badges, which are non-transferable. ASCO has a limited block of hotel rooms reserved for advocacy organizations that exhibit in the ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth (the hotel reservation deadline is April 16, 2014).

It is mandatory that at least one person staff your booth at all times during exhibit hours AND that your booth is staffed until 5:00 PM on the last day of exhibits. Please make travel arrangements accordingly. Failure to staff your booth at all times may result in elimination from exhibiting at future ASCO Meetings.

Criteria for complimentary exhibit space in the ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth
501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organizationOrganization must have a Board of Directors and a Medical/Scientific Advisory Board
Annual report with either an audited financial statement or an IRS 990 form
Materials that demonstrate a charitable mission that is national in scope, that validate participation in advocacy activities, and also outline specific programs and services that directly impact and assist people with cancer

Applications received beforeFebruary 3 at9:00 AM orafter February 6at 11:59AM will not be accepted. Since space is limited to 28 organizations, ASCO assigns space to qualified organizations on a first-come, first-served basis. ASCO reserves the right to determine which organizations may exhibit at ASCO Meetings. All applicants will be contacted the week of February 9.
