The ATNUMC United Methodist Men announce the 2014 offer of the Rev. Dr. Ronald Ward Scholarship,
Candidates must be an active member of Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church. The amount of the scholarship is determined each year by the scholarship committee. It is payable in 2 increments, half each semester. The candidate must be enrolled in an accredited Technical School, 2 year or 4 year college or university. Proof of enrollment must be provided before the funds are distributed.
The applicant:
1. Must be a currently active member of Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church
and either a current high school graduating senior or have graduated high school while attending ATNUMC.
2. Must submit a personal letter stating his/her goals for education and career plans (written and signed by the applicant).
3. Must submit proof of acceptance by an accredited institution of advanced learning (letter of acceptance from the institution must accompany the request).
Submission of the application MUST include the following:
· Application Form
· Letter stating goals for education and career
· Current Transcript
Note: Applicant’s college schedule must be submitted before scholarship funds are released

Deadline for all applications is May 4th. Applications received after the above date will not be processed. Also, applications received without complete documentation and unsigned letters will not be processed.
