Teaching Artist profile

It is my passion to teach students learn the connection between themselves and the world through visual art. My teaching objectives are to engage and excite students in exploring the fundamental elements of art and principles design through observation, imagination, creative thinking, collaboration and reflection. I have over 10 years of experience in teaching, developing and implementing art education programming and curriculum for children of diverse backgrounds ages 3 and up in a museum, public school and private studio setting. I am a visual artist experienced with a variety of art materials and processes. My artistic focus is on drawing and painting.

Arts Friday Committee Chairperson - co-founded and managed a PTA funded arts program called Arts Friday. 2008/2009.
