Art Walk Poster Application Form - Auburn Art Walks, May and September - 2018
The Auburn Art Walk Board of Directors is seeking submissions of original art by local artists, for the promotional materials to be used for both Auburn Art Walks in 2018. If selected your name and short bio will be included on most of the promotional materials developed for the 2018 season.
History:
The Auburn Art Walk is in its 8th year and features local artists in partnership with businesses throughout the downtown core. Visitors will enjoy visual arts displays, music and performances as well as wine tasting with local wineries. Your artwork, if selected will be used on posters, postcards, event maps and other promotional materials.
Theme: Art and Wine
We would like your artwork to incorporate our general theme of art and wine. The artwork submitted must be family friendly and reflect the local values of our diverse Auburn community.
Specifications:
●A print of the original artwork is acceptable but must be 8 1⁄2” by 11” in size and usable for vertical posters, postcards, event maps, and other promotional material formats.
●Please take into consideration that the artwork will be overlaid with the ArtWalk Logo along with dates, times and other information. So keep anything of real interest towards the center or to one side.
●Final selection will be made on January 20, 2018. We will notify the winner as well as the other artists who submitted work. The selected artwork will be featured on the Auburn Art Walk website, and will be used to promote the event at will during the 2018 season by the Auburn Art Walk Board of Directors.
A $150.00 dollar honorarium will be awarded to the artist whose work is chosen.
Submission Deadline: Jan 8, 2018 All submissions must include artwork and this completed application form for each submission. All submissions must be received by January 8th, 2018 and need to be sent to the following address: Auburn Art Walk, P.O. Box 1282, Auburn, WA 98071. The post office box accommodates 8 1⁄2” by 11” sized envelopes.
