Art Critique Questions (BODY of Presentation)

Answer the following questions in complete sentences.

Criteria:

1. NO NOTES. You can write a reminder on your hand. Memorize it! All questions will be posted on the wall to see.

2. POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS/Google Slides: Do not script answers on slides! You will get a “0”. You may use 1 or 2 keywords (Titles) for emphasis on each slide. Use arrows and special affects. Each slide is visual artwork. I will check your notes files on the slide show.

3. USE Google drive. Share all Files with your partner!

4. INTRO (2-3 slides minimum - Both partners must speak): INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTIST (something interesting-crazy), Explain how artist made their artwork. Where is the artwork located? What art period/movement is the artist famous for? Make a connection to history: Is the artist protesting or being influenced by the government?

5. BODY (For #4 crop and zoom in to see actual details): 14 questions. Odd/Even presentation between partners.

6. CONCLUSION (1-2 slides minimum - Both partners must speak): WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THE PROCESS/Why did you pick this artist? Choose a quote from the artist if it relates to your presentation (explain quote) or how would you summarize the artist’s work?
