General Duties and Responsibilities:

In line with the University’s Mission, Corporate Strategy and Leadership Attributes, you will:

  • Deliver to agreed KPI’s and SLA’s (internally and externally).
  • Constantly look for new ways of working that will improve the student experience.
  • Be proactive in developing yourself – knowledge, expertise and emotional intelligence via adherence to Northumbria Attributes.

  • Ensure adherence to Policy and Procedure.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To efficiently process an application –post the decision-making activity.
  • To spot-check decisions made (c5 per day).
  • To conduct accurate data-input of any missing or incorrect data.
  • To ensure that all processes deliver to student expectation.
  • To thoroughly understand the legislation around UKVI processes, Tier 4 licenses and the appropriate issue of CAS.
  • Close liaison with any key stakeholders, including third parties (such as QA) to resolve issues and prioritise the workload queue.
  • Provide general administrative duties – responding to general queries, supporting the frontline team (Applicant Support) and support for the student interview process.
  • To assist in the preparation of any statistical data.
  • To support team members.
