Area Qualifier (Junior & Senior) Entry fee £39 per team

Entries close on Wednesday March 28th. No refunds after this date. Please use the area form on Out of area 6 junior and senior teams use entry form A.

Mini Entry fee £33 per team. Entries close March 28th. Please use entry form A and declare on the day using form B

All ages on January 1st 2018(see condition 10)

MINI SECTION

Teams to comprise of three members aged 10 years and under. One member to be 8 years or under.

Questions will be based on the Care section of the E and D testsand associated mini achievement badges

JUNIOR QUALIFIER SECTION

Teams to comprise of three members aged 13 years and under. One member to be 11 years or under.

Questions will be based on the Care section of the D, D+, and C testsand associated achievement badges

SENIOR QUALIFIER SECTION

Teams to comprise of three members aged 14-24 years (see condition 10). One member to be 16 years or under. Of the remaining two members, one may be between 21 and 24 years (see condition 10).

Questions will be based on the Care sections for the C+ andB tests, AH test and associated advanced achievement badges.

The Junior section will run in the morning and the Senior and mini sections in the afternoon. However, the timing will depend on the number of teams entered.

The winning junior and winning senior team will qualify for the Blue Cross National Final at the Pony Club Championships in August

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. To be run under Pony Club Rules 2018.

2. Competitors should dress in an appropriate manner suitable for safe working in the stable environmenti.e. Centre/Branch sweatshirt.

3. All competitors must wear PC tagged (2018 tag) riding hats when handling horses, and gloves where appropriate.

4. The judges’ decision is final.

5. Complaints must be made to the secretary within 15mins of the results being posted with £20 refundable if the complaint is upheld.

6.Each competitor must compete in all subjects.

7. All visitors to Derby College must abide by the rules and agree to only access designated public areas.

8.Please note this is a no smokingsite throughout.

9.No dogs permitted anywhere on the site.

10. Ages as on 1/1/18 except if a member turns 25 on 1/1/18 they are still eligible.

Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

2. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
