About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating key HR/OD functions and supporting the OD Business Partner and members of the HR Team. While this role is for a 12-month period (with opportunity for extension)it is exciting and challenging and offers a unique mix of generalist HR and Learning and Organisational Development aspects. Plus, it’s a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact! This role will also be responsible to;

  • coordinatekey HR functions including theCorporation’s recruitment and selection process and oversee training compliance;
  • maintain but also seekfurther development of the corporation’s Human Resources Information System (Peoplestreme);
  • devise and coordinate people metrics reporting, and
  • share your expertise, by working on broad organisation wide projects and initiatives.

About you:

You will have excellent written and verbal communication, a good ability to exercise tact and diplomacy, excellent time management skills, a strong ability to prioritise and have a passion for outcomes. You enjoy working as a team but also flourish individually. With a flexible and positive attitude towards work, you'll fit in nicely with our culture. The People and Safety Department is a high performing team and you will also be expected to have the following skills and experience;

  • A Tertiary qualification in HR or a relevant field;
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Prior experience in a HR or OD position or team, including experience in a variety of HR functions and learning and development;
  • Proven systems administration experience (HRIS, LMS etc..) and, ideally, payroll experience;
  • Strong excel and MS Office product and application skills
  • Solid analytical skills and a proven ability to help turn complex problems into practical solutions;
  • Experience in elearning.
