Amazing Architecture Project

Due Date: ______

Note:Assignment is due no later than end of Period 3on ______. NO EXCEPTIONS. You will be printing out two copies of your presentation. One copy will be Handout style with 3 slides per page and the other copy will be a Word Document of the Powerpoint Presentation with your notes. If you will not be here hand it in early or have someone else deliver it. Failure to hand in by the deadline will result in a grade of zero (F).

Architecture comes in many different forms and is found all over the world. Each of you has chosen a piece of Amazing Architecture to present. Your choice may be old, new, or futuristic. It doesn't necessarily have to be a building. Hopefully you have chosen something unique that interests you and will interest everyone else in the class. You should develop notes on your power point and include resources.

You will be developing a Power Point presentation for your choice of Amazing Architecture. There is no limit to the length of this presentation, but it must include all the information required(it does not have to be presented in this order) and you should plan on spending no less than 5 minutes presenting. (You will be presenting from the front of the room) I will make handouts of each presentation for all students.

With your chosenpiece of Amazing Architecture you must include (but are not limited to):

Picture(s) or visuals of the Architecture you are presenting.

A brief history of the Architecture including the year or time period it was built, where itwas built, who designed it, who built it, and what it cost to build.

Include historical facts or interesting pieces of information about this particular piece of architecture.

Include distinguishing characteristics that make this amazing piece of architecture stand out.

What makes this piece of Architecture so amazing?

What do you like most/least about this particular piece of Architecture? Why?

Why did you choose this piece of amazing architecture?
