KEY DATES:

29 June 2018:UNE DECRA EOI Round Opens.

29 June – 3 October 2018:Potential External DECRA EOI applicants to establish contact with UNE mentors to determine whether their research is aligned with UNE and relevant Faculty research priorities and has Faculty Dean or Faculty Associate Dean Researchendorsement.

3 October 2018:Closing date for applicants to email completed External DECRA EOI to UNE Research Services via

17 October 2018:Applicants notified of EOI outcome. Successful candidates will be expected to work with their UNE mentors to develop a competitive application.

14 January 2019:Full DECRA Draft due to UNE Research Office for review.The review process will involve UNE Faculty/discipline mentors and UNE grant mentors.

25February 2019:DECRA application due to UNE Research Office for compliance checking.

Note: External DECRA EOI applicants who miss any of these deadlines will only be considered by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) under exceptional circumstances.
