Everyone's gotta eat, and sometimes you just don't have time to take a trip to the student union cafeteria. GrubHub makes it almost ridiculously easy to order food for delivery right to your door! Using GrubHub's database of more than 25,000 restaurants in more than 300 cities around the country, you can browse menus and read restaurant reviews, recall past orders, and save multiple addresses for quick access, then place your order right from your phone.

Don't sleep through your most important classes! Snooze button mashers and gradual awakeners, rejoice — there's an alarm clock app for you. Alarm Clock Xtreme works for everyone, no matter what your sleeping and waking habits might be. You can set it to wake you up gently and gradually, set a variable snooze duration, and even set it to require you solve math problems before it will turn off the alarm. The app also features a countdown timer and lets you set reminder alarms for events throughout the day.

4. Dropbox: Though it’s not necessarily meant to be a collaboration site, I have found DropBox extremely useful during group projects. Dropbox is a free file hosting service that provides file storage and synchronization, so you never have to email yourself files or remember to bring your USB again. Files placed in Dropbox are accessible on any computer, laptop or phone so long as you have an account. The value that I have found in this app is that you can add people onto your folders so they have access to them as well.

5. Quizlet Mobile: An interactive flashcard app that makes studying more fun and memorable. The online version has games, matching and multiple-choice assessments based on your study guide to help you prepare. The mobile app is a great portable version so that you can study anywhere.

6. My Car Locator: Find your car! Once parked, it can be easy to lose. PosiMotion lets you park your car, press the Park Me! button, then do whatever you want. When you're ready to return to your ride, press the "Where Did I Park?" button and you'll get turn-by-turn walking directions back.

7. Sparknotes: Marketing itself as he “ultimate portable study guide,” browse SparkNotes easily on your iPhone.

8.iMemento: Study with flashcards on your iPhone and use multiple-choice tests to quiz yourself on the material. iMemento grades and records your test performances so you can track your progress.

Chegg Inc.:Chegg is the top textbook rental company. Their free app allows you to search for textbooks by title, author, ISBN or by scanning a book's bar code with your iPhone. Compare prices and complete the rental or purchase transaction right from your mobile device. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Free.

14. gFlash+: With gFlash+, you can create flashcards and share them with fellow students, plus study and quiz yourself. Random multiple-choice questions increase the difficulty. Use images, foreign language characters or text-based cards to test your knowledge of dozens of subjects. Compatible with Android. Free.

15. Cole's Calculus Review: No more digging through notes looking for a derivative formula! Cole's Calculus Review lists all the important formulas and evaluation techniques, like limits, derivatives, integrals, and products and quotients of trigonometric functions. Compatible with Android. Free.
