Board Meeting Started at 6:00 pm

Members Present:Paul Rochell- President, Presided, Alysha Ross,JoelThomson, Kent Butters, Bob Wallis, Dariel Rochell/Secretary

Excused: Candace Baird, Leesa Valdez/Treasurer, Cory Thomson,Jay Gresham.

Business:

-Read minutes from 10th Aug and12th Sep2017

-No key requests

-No financial report

-Paul welcomed Bob Wallis back on the board.

-Roads- the feedback has been positive.

-Bob had some questions about the Aspen way situation. Paul and Kent brought him up to speed with what has happened to date. Kent said the work has been done to the road and it should be acceptable. Now we just need to get all the affected owners and board members up to take a look at it in the spring. There is still some work that needs to be done with the rest of the road.

-We need to bring recognition in the General meeting to the board members for their efforts to save the association money and maintaining good relationships.

-Lockboxes will be discussed in the general meeting.

-Land survey’s- Bob said the old survey plat map is off and the layout is crooked. Kent said he has been using Gardiner engineering for his which is the same one that John Lewis used for the Hideout. Kent said the stakes are already in for his fencing but if someone wants to challenge it that he is open to the discussions. They will need to get their own surveyor to challenge it. Paul said that the downside to the differences in the two methods is that GPS is going to be the accepted method. Kent asked if anyone has ever overlapped John Lewis’s plot map with the old map? The board said not that any of them know of.

-Hunting- Paul asked if there were any problems or concerns with hunting this year? Kent said that someone had shot an elk while spotlighting on rocky ridge and he also caught a couple of people trespassing. Paul asked how do we want to handle security next year?do we need more? How can we avoid people using the loopholes in the rules with easement’s and trespassing?

-Roads- we still need to go up in the spring and evaluate what other projects need to be done.

Bob motioned to adjourn and Alysha 2nd. Meeting adjourned at 7:37 pm.
