Complete all 14 requirements for Gold Level; Complete 10 requirements for Silver Level; Complete 7 requirements for Bronze Level.
Training:
1. All registered adults have participated in a training program offered by the BSA, including BSA Youth Protection, and including training in areas so instructed by the local ordinary of the unit’s diocese.
2. Two-deep leadership with at least one unit leader having completed applicable BSA leader basic training.
3. One or more registered adults has participated in a training program offered by diocesan, regional or National Catholic Committee on Scouting®.

Service:
4. The unit conducted a service project for its parish or diocesan community or chartered organization within the past 12 months. Briefly describe it: (Attach additional sheets if needed.)

Religious Emblems/Recognitions:
5. Unit provides annual presentation about religious emblems available to its members.
6. At least 25 percent of youth members have earned or are actively working on the religious emblem appropriate to their level or age.
7. The unit committee annually reviews leadership for adult BSA and diocesan recognitions; i.e. Bronze Pelican and St. George Emblem.

An appropriate ceremony should be arranged, according to local diocesan customs. Note: This award is available to both Roman Catholic and Eastern Catholic chartered units.

MAJOR FEATURES
Eligibility: BSA packs, troops, crews or ships chartered to Catholic parishes, schools or organizations may earn this award, e.g., Parish, Knights of Columbus Council, Parochial School, Knights of Peter Claver Council, etc.
Requirement areas cover adult training and leadership, service by the unit, religious emblems, religious activities, vocation awareness, relationships and membership.
Units may earn this recognition on their own merit for a particular charter or calendar year and may re-earn it in succeeding years if the requirements are met annually.
After meeting the requirements, sign the application on the reverse and submit it with the proper fee to your Diocesan Catholic Committee or office for Scouting. The Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting will review this application and consolidate orders from eligible units onto one order form.

Of prime importance to the Bishops of the United States and the National
Catholic Committee on Scouting® is concern for Catholic-chartered Scouting units which provide a top- quality Catholic Scouting program.
This program exists to promote Catholic membership growth and to:
Promote and recognize effective youth and adult leadership in fostering teachings of the Catholic Church, and
Recognize outstanding and prestigious Catholic Scout Units, and
Recognize Catholic chartering organizations, and
Provide Catholic youth in Scouting, through the use of BSA programs as Catholic Youth Ministry with a deeper understanding of Catholic teaching, and
Recognize and respect those of a different faith by encouraging them to earn the appropriate emblem of their faith tradition.
